The Pentateuch I
Many Christians, new and old, struggle with understanding nuances of the Bible because they do not know the beginning history. Come with us as we explore the first five books of the Bible (The Law, The Torah, or the Pentateuch). We pray that you will be enriched as the first part of our journey takes us to the books of Genesis and Exodus.
The first book is Genesis, the Book of Beginnings. What happened in the beginning? Who were Adam and Eve? Why were we allowed to sin? Who committed the first murder? Did Noah and the Flood really happen? Why is Abraham important? Do you have to be perfect to be used of God? Who is God? How did Israel start? How did Israel get stuck in Egypt? These questions, and so many more, will be answered.
In the second book, Exodus, we examine how the nation of Israel exits Egypt. We explore the persecution of the Jewish people, the calling of Moses as the leader of Israel, the 10 plagues, the crossing of the Red Sea, and the drowning of pharaoh's army. Did you know about the time Heaven and earth met over a dinner between God and man? What does the Law of God tell us about God Himself? These just scratch the surface of what you will learn.
