EBENEZER BAPTIST CHURCH MANCHESTER

John 11:25

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:”

Dear Members and Visitors,

Pastor Pickett will be taking his last service on Sunday the 20th of September 2020 and will be returning home to America on the 22nd of September.

Pastor Pickett has asked Pastor Steven Montgomery to take over the Pulpit and such responsibilities until the Church can meet again as a whole to decide upon the future position. We are very grateful to Pastor Pickett and his family for their ministry here and trust that God will lead and guide them continually as they follow His Will and experiance His love in their lives, they shall be truly missed.

This is a time also for the Church to work together, it is not a time to think negatively, but positivley, as we know that God will guide and lead His Church. So be encouraged as we meet together, pray together, and grow together, in love and unity for the glory of God.

The Church committee asks for your prayers for God's guidance on the way ahead for the Church on this matter, and that things will work out for His Will.

Yours Sincerely,

Tony Garside (Elder)

Welcome to Ebenzer Baptist Church Manchester

We believe in God, who is the Saviour of the world; who is reaching out to people, offering them the gift of life in its fullness and an opportunity to experience His endless love in every sphere of their lives.

We hope that you’ll see Him amongst us.

Our heart as a church is to Love God and to Love People. This means that we are about engaging with God through his Word and by his Spirit and living out our faith in discipleship and mission.

There are many opportunities to connect with God and with us; there are almost a dozen fellowship groups that meet weekly on different days and at different times! There are a variety of activities for all ages that happen during the week. Our time is very informal but will usually include a time of singing and some time looking at the Bible together. There is a crèche, children's and youth activities during the service.

You are welcome if you have moved into the area or are exploring what the Christian faith is all about or just looking for friends in an amazing but sometimes lonely city. If you would like me to contact you then please email us directly at;
